Privacy Policy
When a potential Member completes the Application Form for Units in the Trust, the Manager will be collecting personal information them. The Manager may collect additional personal information from them in the future.
The Manager needs to collect personal information from potential Members for the primary purpose of providing them with an investment in the Trust (including assessing their application and identifying them). There are also a number of related purposes for which a potential Member’s personal information will be collected and these are to process their application, administer and manage their investment in the Trust, and comply with Australian taxation laws, the Corporations Act and other laws and regulations.
If a potential Member does not provide the Manager with their contact details and other information it may not be able to process their application, administer or manage their investment.
The information that a potential Member provides to the Manager may be disclosed to certain organisations. The types of organisations or persons to whom the Manager usually discloses the information provided by investors include:
- the Australian Taxation Office and other government or regulatory bodies;
- organisations involved in providing, administering or managing the Trust such as any third party service provider engaged by the Manager to provide administration, custody, investment management, technology, auditing, registry, mailing or printing services; and
- those where the potential Member has consented to such disclosure, or as required or authorised by law.
A Member’s information may also be used in connection with the purposes for which it is collected. The Manager may also use a Member’s information to forward to them, from time to time, details of other investment opportunities in which they may be interested.
A Member can gain access to the personal information the Manager holds about them, subject to some exceptions allowed by law. The Manager will give a Member reasons if it denies access. Potential Members should contact the Manager by calling the number, or by writing to the Manager at the address listed in on the inside back cover of this IM, if they have any questions about how the Manager handles personal information, or if they wish to access the personal information that it holds about them.
